‘GAME OF DRONES’
To highlight the amount of space and luxury that can be found in the long-wheelbase Jaguar XJL, Jaguar recently held a high-speed race. Professional racers raced high-speed drones in the ‘Game of Drones’ through door-shaped gates and the rear cabins of three Jaguar XJLs.
The high-speed drones reached speeds of 60 mph as they weaved in and out of their targets. The door-shaped gates were lit to highlight two of the Jaguar XJL’s interior lighting choices, Phosphor Blue and Red.
The drones were able to fly through the Jaguar XJL without any issues, truly showcasing how much available space it has, including an extra five inches of rear legroom. The Jaguar XJL also has more headroom, specially tuned rear suspension, fold-out tables, and reclining seats with a massage function, easily giving the gift of luxury to every passenger.
“Quality and comfort are always at the forefront of our minds and this is especially true for the Jaguar XJL,” Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design, said. “The long wheelbase gave us the space to create a passenger experience that is second to none. We might not have designed it with drone racing in mind, but it’s a fun way to demonstrate the spacious environment we’ve created.”
The Jaguar XJL has multiple engine choices to choose from, a 3.0 liter V6 engine available in 300 PS diesel and 340 PS petrol and a 5.0-liter V8 510PS petrol engine. Every engine is capable of providing incredible performance as well as comfort.
The Jaguar XJL is also jam-packed full of the latest technology. The Jaguar XJL boasts new levels of connectivity as well as “an effortless driving experience.” Technology features include the latest Touch Pro infotainment system, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), full LED headlights, and all-wheel drive.
